Thorson has developed a diverse set of skills and extensive experience, making her an asset at any stage of the design process. She brings to the table a deep understanding of residential construction and remodel thanks to her experience as a licensed contractor. Her years as a public sector employee dealing with both commercial and residential development, add to her skills an inside-out understanding of community infrastructure and jurisdictional processes. Thorson's passion for incorporating family history and custom pieces make each interior design assignment a creative collaboration between her clients and her team.

Through the years, Thorson has developed strong relationships with architects, engineers, trades people and artisans and capitalizes on these resources to create client-specific designs; whether this involves locating rare reclaimed wood, or managing complex commercial efforts.

EDUCATION
Thorson is a Harvard Fellow of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership from George Fox University and Certificate in Human Resource Management from Linfield College. Additionally, Thorson is a practicing Dispute Mediator and holds multiple certificates through the International Code Council including Commercial Fire and Life Safety Plans Examiner.
